Obviously as a personal trainer I believe that regular exercise is one of the best things you can do for your body. However, if weight loss is your main goal, don’t think that just because you are working out you can eat whatever you want. When it comes down to it, weight loss occurs when you burn more calories than you consume. If you would like to lose one pound per week, then cut out 500 calories per day through diet and exercise combined. Talk to a certified personal trainer or nutritionist to find out what your target calorie range should be based on your height, weight and goals.
